The Leitchfield Fire Department is a Class IV department that serves the areas of Leitchfield, Millwood, Peter Cave, Eveleigh, Short Creek and the Clarkson city limits within their Emergency 911 jurisdiction. In addition to responding to fires, the Leitchfield Fire Department also responds to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and incidents involving hazardous materials.
