Parks and Recreation

The city of Leitchfield provides and maintains several parks, trails, and recreation areas for its residents and visitors to enjoy. We also have recreational sports programs like softball, baseball, and aquatics for the youth of our community.

James D. Beville Park
180 Nature Trail

James D. Beville Park offers something for the whole family: a playground, sports complexes, 1-mile paved walking path with ponds and wooded areas throughout, and pavilions to host parties and special events.

B.G. Dewitt Park

B.G. Dewitt Park is a quaint and peaceful park–perfect for picnics! It features a playground, picnic tables, and covered picnic areas.

Firefighters Memorial Park & Splash Pad
1103 Brandenburg Road

Adjacent to our Fire Department, the Firefighters Memorial Park honors our service members. It features a .5-mile paved walking path with multiple playgrounds, a splash pad, and a covered pavilion area.

Splash Pad is open daily during May 1-Oct 1, 11AM-7PM

Recreational Areas

Leitchfield Aquatic Center
201 East Carroll Gibson Blvd

Offering multiple slides, pools, and aqua-playgrounds, the Leitchfield Aquatic Center is the area’s destination for summer fun! On any operational day, the aquatic center has a fully stocked concession stand, pavilions, and full facility rental options.

The Leitchfield Sports Complex features several baseball fields, restrooms, concession stands, and picnic areas.
